Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Burn. By using Burn, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Burn ('the Bot') to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

Burn is a Discord moderation bot that provides automated moderation tools including but not limited to: Fire Pit channels, content scanning, user punishment actions (kick, ban, timeout), and server configuration management. The Bot operates within the Discord platform and is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. User Responsibilities

Server administrators and moderators are responsible for: • Configuring the Bot appropriately for their community • Ensuring compliance with Discord's Terms of Service • Informing server members about moderation policies • Not using the Bot for harassment, discrimination, or any illegal activities • Properly managing whitelisted roles and permissions • Understanding that Fire Pit channels are moderation tools and should be used responsibly

4. Premium Features

Premium features are offered on a subscription basis. Premium features include advanced content scanning, custom message templates, moderator confirmation workflows, and other enhanced functionality. Premium access may be revoked at any time for violation of these terms. Refund policies are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

The Bot collects and stores data necessary for its operation, including server IDs, channel IDs, message content (for scanning purposes), and user IDs. This data is used solely for providing the Bot's services. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data with third parties.

6. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Bot may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot or any of its features at any time with or without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Burn is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to data loss, server disruption, or unintended moderation actions. Server administrators assume full responsibility for configuring and using the Bot.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be announced through our support server.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Bot for any server or user at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
