Messages in Fire Pit channels are read to trigger appropriate actions. • Configuration Data: Custom messages, action preferences, whitelisted roles, and other settings configured by server administrators. • Usage Statistics: Aggregated data about command usage, death counts, and feature adoption.

2. How We Use Information

The information we collect is used exclusively for: • Providing Services: Operating Fire Pit channels, content scanning, and moderation actions. • Configuration Storage: Saving your server's settings for persistent customization. • Logging: Recording moderation actions for server audit purposes. • Improving Burn: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve features and performance. • Communication: Sending DM notifications to punished users when configured to do so.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: Server configuration data is stored securely. Data is retained as long as the Bot is in your server. • Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. • Message Content: Messages processed for scanning are analyzed in real-time and are not persistently stored. • Data Location: Data may be stored on servers located in various regions depending on hosting infrastructure.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your data to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances: • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation. • Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Burn, its users, or the public. • Aggregated Data: Anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify individual users or servers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Active Servers: Data is retained as long as Burn remains in your Discord server. • Bot Removal: When Burn is removed from your server, all associated data may be deleted immediately or within 30 days. • Message Content: Messages are processed in memory and are not persistently stored. • Data Requests: Server administrators may request data deletion by removing the Bot from their server. • Inactive Data: Data from servers where Burn has been removed may be retained for up to 90 days for backup purposes before permanent deletion.

6. User Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to: • Access: Request information about what data we hold. • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data. • Erasure: Request deletion of your data by removing Burn from your server. • Object: Object to certain processing activities. Burn is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable digital consent age in their country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their community complies with Discord's age requirements.

Burn operates within Discord's platform and is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Discord or any other third-party services.

This website may use essential cookies for functionality purposes. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any form of user tracking. Burn itself does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies within Discord.
